CAATs & AI Contest 2024-2025 Compete to be #1

The ICAEA CAATs Contest 2024-2025 is an international competition designed to enhance the audit and analytics skills of business students. Teams, each consisting of three undergraduate students and led by a faculty advisor, will compete in local and regional online rounds, culminating in an in-person international final in Germany. The contest aims to promote technical proficiency in using Computer Assisted Audit Tools CAATs such as ACL, JCAATs or IDEA, foster teamwork, and encourage innovative problem-solving. Participants will tackle multiple audit objectives within a set timeframe, with professional judges evaluating their performance. The winners will receive a $1,000 cash prize, making this a prestigious opportunity for aspiring auditors to showcase their talents on a global stage.

For student groups with limited experience with audit analytics, we offer an online training session before the competition.

• Each team will solve six audit objectives in four hours.
• There will be three professional judges.
